![]() ![]() It doesn't help that you start with a ridiculously small inventory space that resides behind a clunky UI. As a result, you'll end up groaning when you realise you'll have to kill ten wasps in a far-out location. If everything had just been sped up to provide more sense of urgency, the loop would have felt a lot more satisfying. Instead, you walk at a relatively slow pace with fast travel points available far too distant away from each other. None of this would be so bad if Kitaria Fables made it easy to navigate the world. It doesn't help that the game is littered with loading screens every few steps. The quest objectives never evolve beyond this and it's not long before roadblocks stop you in your tracks, forcing you to take part in the dull grind. How it attempts to do so is via grinding, which may mean you have to venture out into the world to collect resources, kill enemies or find specific items. With a game split into two halves, RPG and farming, it never manages to juggle both elements naturally. It's not until the training wheels are removed that the true problems begin to arise. The town's fluffy inhabitants create a cosy atmosphere that perfectly balances against the game's darker political themes. It's actually a fairly engaging narrative, despite being aimed at a younger audience. You see, you've been sent to protect a small village from monsters by the capital, but it's not long until you learn more is at play. While the opening hours are fairly slow at introducing new elements, you'll spend your initial time with Kitaria Fables smashing away at enemies, exploring dungeons and learning new skills. But it's not long before the cracks begin to show and the true grind of the game is revealed. In its initial opening hours, the game demonstrates a perfect blend of the two, delivering a satisfying gameplay loop. Blending elements of the iconic farming simulator with the ferocious action of the latter is a great setup. Pumpkin will also appear at the Beach/Oasis Town in addition to Paw Village and Riviera Fortress. On the surface, Kitaria Fables looks to be a charming mixture of Stardew Valley and Diablo.Look at what day it is to determine whether or not Pumpkin will be in Paw Village. So Pumpkin will appear on Day 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, etc etc.Pumpkin will always appear in Paw Village on days that are a multiple of 3.As you can see in the image, the Medium Bag costs 3,000 Paw Pennies and the Large Bag will set you back 10,000. The last tab of Pumpkin’s shop has the two bag upgrades that each unlock an additional row in your inventory. In order to access the shop, you need to leave the tavern and enter it again after that time. Here Pumpkin already appears before 19:00 but only has a conversation option. The second place is in Rivero Fortress, but this time Pumpkin can only be found inside the tavern standing at the counter. ![]() The shop is set up at the northern side of the village, above the little plaza. So if you are in the village, you need to leave and re-enter. You cannot simply wait in the village for Pumpkin to show up, as the area needs to be reloaded. You need to enter the village shortly after 19:00 for Pumpkin to appear. The first location is close to home, right in the middle of Paw Village. Additionally, you can only access the shop in two of these locations, and only at a specific time! So you’ll just have to try a couple of evenings and hope you get lucky. Pumpkin can pop up in several locations around the world, which seemingly is based on a semi-random pattern. There are a few different items to be purchased from this shop, such as exclusive seeds, the most powerful sword and bow upgrades, some resources, all starter gear, and of course the two bag upgrades. However this vegetable vendor is a travelling one who cannot always be found in the same location. It turns out that there is a merchant called Pumpkin that sells the bigger bags. Depending on your playstyle it can take a long time to come across this, and playing with a tiny inventory is less fun the further you progress. The regular vendors and crafters don’t have any option for this, and there aren’t any hints or tooltips to tell you where to go. This is a short guide on how you can upgrade your bag and unlock the extra two rows of inventory space. Guide to Unlock More Inventory Space Introduction
